La pintura de Silvina, está vinculada al uso y origen de las Sargas. En la pieza “Camalotal” hay una clara intención de cubrir el espacio interior con una escena exterior, que en este caso es un paisaje acuático del litoral argentino. La artista rescató esta vista en la tela – tapiz, durante un viaje reciente a la tierra natal. El movimiento, presente también en el agua y las plantas flotantes, es una metáfora de lo inasible y atemporal que se torna el espacio cuando estamos en constante traslación y desplazamiento geográfico.

Silvina's paintings are linked to the use and origin of the sargas that were fabrics painted and decorated the rooms of the greek palaces. Her landscapes (camalotales) has a clear intention of covering the interior space with an exterior scene, which in this case are aquatic landscapes of the Argentinian coastline. The artist rescued this view in the fabric/tapesty, during a recent trip to her native land. The movement, also present in the water and floating plants is a metaphor for the elusive and timeless that takes up space when we are in constant movement and geographic displacement.
