Silvina Ibanez is a Visual Artist with twenty years of experience in the Art Field. Her educational and professional experience was focused on contributing to social change through art. Her expertise in a broad spectrum of art languages applied in creativity development was the key to helping others in the connection between themselves and their communities.
She worked as an Art Specialist leading projects for International Public Agencies, Non-for-Profit Organizations, as well as for Private Corporations. She was responsible for conceptualizing and executing art projects on a variety of topics. Some of them were related to environment and health, community development, and peacebuilding. Among other important initiatives, she was an active advocate for the creation of digital databases for the protection of cultural heritage.
Silvina holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (UNA Argentina), and a Master's degree in Visual Arts (UNAM – Mexico). She has ten Solo and seventeen Collective exhibitions in Art Galleries and Museums.
She is a member of Art Associations in Mexico/France (SOMAAP/CISAC – ARTAC/UNESCO) and USA (Cambridge Artist Association CAA – MA).
Currently, she is a Master's Candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy at Lesley University.
